No problem! Remember the saying, "It's the thought that counts?" Well it's true. You don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on a gift (unless you have that type of money, then go right ahead!) Even though flowers and chocolates are always a great traditional gift to get someone, there's a lot more that you can do with those things to create a really cute and personalized gift for them. Alas! The perfect gift for that special someone with a major sweet tooth! I have been seeing these candy bouquets everywhere lately. There are many stores that sell them already made, but they want like $50 per bouquet which is crazy! Why not just make it yourself? Although it may seem a bit time consuming, it would be worth it in the long run. The benefits of making it yourself is the fact that you could personalize the vase and save a whole lot of money. Most of the supplies needed to make this bouquet can be found at your local dollar store. How's that for a bargain?
Here's what you'll need:
- A mason jar, glass vase, or tin can.
- Ribbon or bow (optional)
- Scissors
- Tape
- Barbeque Skewers

Alright, this is the cheesy gift we've all been waiting for: 52 things I love about you. As cheesy as this may be, it is extremely thoughtful. Taking the time out to actually think of 52 reasons why you love that special someone shows how much you care. Yes, you could buy a Hallmark card with some cute saying on it, but this DIY project allows you to personalize it. I personally think it means more too since you actually wrote it from the heart. You don't need to write a whole story, just cute little sayings or insiders you have with that person will definitely put a smile on his face as he reads through them!
